1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help us deliver a functional and secure experience.

2. Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

These are necessary for the platform to function. They enable features such as session management and security. These cannot be disabled.

Analytics Cookies

Optional Google Analytics is loaded only after you accept analytics. It measures public-page visits and limited assessment progress events. Our custom events do not include answers, scores, names, email addresses or private report links. Google may process device, network and cookie information under its own terms.

Preference Cookies

These remember your settings and progress within the assessment tool.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Base44 provides application and account functionality. Optional Google Analytics uses cookies only after your analytics choice. The free website check does not require a payment processor. Third-party services have their own privacy information.

4. Storage and Duration

The popia-cookie-consent preference is stored in local storage until you change it or clear browser storage. Business assessment drafts use session storage and expire after up to 24 hours. Private report access references use the current browser session. Optional Google Analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_<measurement identifier> may persist according to Google configuration, commonly up to two years. Exact browser storage and expiry should be checked in your browser. We attempt to remove first-party _ga cookies when you choose Essential only. Browser controls can clear remaining storage.

5. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may affect platform functionality.

6. Consent

Analytics stays off until you choose Accept analytics. You can choose Essential only and still use the assessment. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice. Rejecting analytics disables further analytics events from the app, updates analytics consent to denied and attempts to remove first-party Google Analytics cookies. You can also clear remaining cookies in your browser settings.
